1967 - 50th

BHS Class of '67 will be reminiscing about the "Summer of Love" and the years that led up to it when they hold it's 50th reunion in September 2017.  Class rep Ed Wright, Jr. reports that some class members have been meeting for several months to plan activities and try to track down missing classmates.  Unfortunately, we've lost 12 classmates and have lost track of several others.  Our hope is to get at least half of our class back to Brentwood for the reunion.  Activities planned include gathering in the BHS courtyard on Friday, September 15th for the annual 3rd Weekend of September fun and then socializing later at the local watering hole.  Saturday night, a dinner is planned and other fun activities will include a trivia game, music, yearbooks, memorabilia and lots of storytelling among friends.  "We're also hoping to raise a lot of money for the Brentwood Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.  Ten years ago, we raised over $5000 which was the highest amount ever raised by a class up to that time.  We're shooting for $6,700 this year."  Wright said.  More details to follow.  Wright can be contacted by email at wrikink@aol.com
